Winning the battle!
I took a day and gathered all the unused extension cords, usb cables, HDMI cables, printer cables, cordless keyboard/mouse cords, any kind of cord at all, wrapped each of them into a circle, organized them by type (i.e., all extension cords together, all usb cords together, all telephone cords together, all HDMI cords together), put each type in a see-through baggie, and put them all into the big bottom drawer of a 3-drawer organizer. NO MORE SQUIRRELING AROUND FOR CORDS WHEN I WANT ONE! I ACTUALLY KNOW WHERE THEY ARE!

Can't find the recharger?
I have so many devices that have a recharging cord or a USB cord (or both!) that I could never remember which cords went with which device. Now I use the Translucent Mini 2-Drawer Chests, using one drawer per device to keep the cords in order. Once I labeled each drawer using my label maker, I had no trouble finding exactly the cord I needed. I keep the drawers on a shelf next to a power strip, making it easy to recharge the device I need.

I use the Q.Knots to gather cables together. Then I use the little cable drop button-type thingies to stick snaking cables to the side of my file cabinet or desk.

I love to use ice cube trays to divide and conquer my mountains of everyday jewelry. Generally, I will do one tray with gold accent earrings, rings, etc. and the other with silver. Each pair of earrings, rings, etc. gets their own, little "cubbie." The best part about this system is that the ice cube trays are stackable and leave a very small footprint!

Magazine files

I keep my read alouds organized in my classroom by using magazine files. I have a different one labeled for each month (some months have 2!). All I have to do is swap out a magazine file full of books and I'm set for the month!
